Funeral Services in English
We have distributed publicity to every funeral parlour in Manche introducing Christ Church in the Manche telling them and any of their clients that we can offer Funeral Services in English across the region. This assistance has been offered to several British families, who have benefitted from the pastoral care that is so important at this difficult time without the extra stress of a language barrier.
Our Chaplain, Rev Peter Hales, and his ministry team will administer the services with sensitivity.

Hospital visiting service
Our Hospital Visting leaflets have likewise been circulated throughout the area with an unexpected result. Our Chaplain Peter was rushed to hospital in a good deal of pain. On seeing his situation an administrator produced a leaflet and sympathetically asked if he required a visit from an English speaking minister, Peter managed to splutter through the pain that he was that same minister!
Happily Peter is fully recovered and the visiting system is working well. If you or a relative are hospitalised please ask for a visit.
